Drydocking, repair and painting of Thyna I&II and Thyna III
Project general scope description : • Barges towing from Cercina to Nasr shipyard based at Zarzis port • Barge drydocking • Hull scraping, washing with high pressure and Sandblasting • Thickness measurement and integrity survey • Replacement of corroded marine plates on barge’s deck, wall and bottom • Renewal of corroded ballasts structure • Renewal of corroded fenders fencing • Supply and Replacement of protective anodes • Renewal of ballasts manholes joint seals and bolts including leak test • Upgrade of handrails on deck • Upgrade of hatch covers for store compartments • Repair, lubricating and refit of fairleads on the deck of barge • Upgrade of Thyna III barge chains lockers • Upgrade of piles housing • Ballasts sandblasting and painting • Hull painting works in accordance with the approved painting system • Marking of hull including waterline marking, drafts marking and names and register number of barges • Cleaning and coating of chains and anchors • Barges launching and towing back to Cercina field |
